Hubert Curien Memorial Lecture

I have had the great honor to give the annual Hubert Curien Memorial Lecture at the Cyprus Institute in Nicosia last week. My topic was economic & financial crises, emergence, collective effects and all that. I had given a very similar talk at the ECB the day before, with the hope that these ideas may help building better models of economic complexity.

The previous Curien lecture was given by Marc Mézard in 2020, on the successes, myths, facts and threats of AI. I strongly recommend it!
